Nothing is pink, but everything can change.

October is the month dedicated to breast cancer awareness, a disease that affects thousands of women and a small percentage of men, as well as their families, every year. Illuminating buildings in pink is a powerful symbol of solidarity and support, but behind the pink lies a harsh reality. No disease is romantic or easy, but breast cancer is a battle that can be won, especially with early diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

The pink light that illuminates buildings around the world is not just a symbol of awareness, but also of hope. It is a reminder that, although this disease can be serious, science is progressing, treatments are improving, and the chances of victory are increasing daily. The fight against breast cancer is not easy, but with support from the medical community, enhanced prevention, and the advancement of medical science, everything can change.

SYMMETRIA® lights up pink, as it does every year, the building at 66 Ethnikis Antistaseos, and turns it into a beacon of hope for all of October. Its spaces and its people welcome us into a pink world to raise our awareness even more about breast cancer.

Let’s continue to support those who are fighting and to light the way for a future full of hope.
