Barcelona style shrimp ‘’con Catalan ensallada’’ (with Catalan salad)
For the shrimp
Ingredients
Serves 3 as a main course (or 6 as an appetizer)
Directions
1) Sprinkle the salt on your shelled shrimp and let aside for aprox 10 minutes.
2) Heat your 2 Tbsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium to high heat
3) Add your garlic cloves, minced garlic and red pepper flakes and saute’ for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4) Then add your shrimp, and will constantly stirring, cook until they turn pink (should take around 2,5 minutes)
5) Add the fresh lemon juice, paprika, pepper and salt and cook for 1 additional minute.
6) Sprinkle with chopped parsley to give a fresh taste to your course
