HIFU Protocol is the latest in technology and is based on the action of focused ultrasound (U/S) penetration at a depth of up to 4.5mm into the skin, that is, at the same depth that an invasive facelift reaches.
HIFU or High Intensity Focused Ultrasound has the effect of a non-surgical facelift. The protocol succeeds strengthening in existing skin collagen and at the same time, it activates fibroblasts, which produce new collagen by stimulating the natural process of collagenesis. The action of the ultrasound waves specifically targets the deepest layers of the connective tissue of the skin and muscle layers of the skin, known as the SMAS (Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System).
