Dr. Alexandra Nikita has rich clinical, teaching, and research work. She has participated in foreign language publications (with a significant number of bibliographic references), Greek and foreign language electronic publications, and numerous announcements at international and Greek conferences and has received distinctions and praises at Greek and international conferences.

Dr. Alexandra Nikita has taught at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and also in laboratory courses at the Medical School of the University of Athens and the Nursing School of the same institution. Additionally, Dr. Alexandra Nikita has significant research experience with participation as a paid researcher in 11 research projects (European, GET, University of Athens) on advanced imaging technologies.

From May 2002 up to June 2017, she was the Scientific Manager of the Interventional Radiology Department of the "Neo Athinaion Clinic”. Furthermore, from 2012 up to today she works as the director of the Breast Imaging Department at the Mediterraneo Hospital and since 2019 she works as an external collaborator of the Breast Imaging Department of the LEFKOS STAVROS clinic. Finally, since August 2018, she is the scientific manager of the Mammography Department of Eugenides Hospital.
