Dr. Eleni Galani attended the medical school of the University of Patras from September 1988 until July 1994 when she graduated. Furthermore, she received a scholarship from the State of Scholarships Foundation because of her performance during her studies. Later she started her training in internal medicine at General Oncology Hospital Agioi Anargyroi and completed it at the Therapeutic Clinical Hospital of Alexandra. In 2001 she received her specialty in internal medicine and attended and completed the post-graduate program in Oncology, at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. At the same time, at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, she worked on her Ph.D. in oncology.

Dr. Eleni Galani has been awarded the fellowship of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) and furthermore the fellowship of the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology (HESMO). In 2005 Dr. Galani was board certified in Medical Oncology.

Dr. Eleni Galani is also an author of more than 40 original publications in medical journals and has presented over 100 papers at Greek and international conferences. She has been invited as a speaker and has chaired several medical conferences. Dr. Galani is also a key author in international and national oncology books.
