Dr. Anna Peraki was born in Athens in 1969 and she is a graduate of Tositsei Arsakeios Ekalis. Later on, she was admitted to the Medical School of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and graduated in 1995. Additionally, Dr. Anna Peraki was trained as a Research Fellow in retinal diseases at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in the US under the guidance of Professor Reece Landers.

Furthermore, after serving the field service at the Feneo Health Center for a year, Dr. Anna Peraki was retrained in the UK. First at the Royal Leicester Infirmary and then at the Royal Bolton Hospital and finally at the Manchester Eye Hospital. Dr. Anna Peraki is specialized in the anterior hemisphere of the eye, cataract microsurgery, and LASER refractive surgery.

Additionally, Dr. Anna Peraki was trained as a Research Fellow in retinal diseases at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in the US under the guidance of Professor Reece Landers. Dr. Anna Peraki is a holder of the European Board of Ophthalmology (May 2001) and has completed the Fellowship in Advanced Photorefractive Surgery (Photorefractive Surgery Seminars) on the correction of myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism using Excimer Laser.
