Dr. Lucian Ion was trained in both Europe and the UK and he received his medical degree from the University of Bucharest.  In 1986 he decided to move to Paris to commence his training in general and plastic surgery where he worked in several prestigious hospitals. After his decision to move to Paris, he moved to the UK in order to continue his career. Additionally, in Paris, he was granted Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. Furthermore, Dr. Lucian Ion has numerous published works, and he is regularly invited as a guest speaker at international seminars to share his expertise with other healthcare professionals. He is heavily involved in research and is currently evaluating the role of 3D imaging in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Lucian Ion strongly believes that developing tools that enhance communication helps patients understand, plan, and decide regarding their surgery, particularly in sensitive areas like facial appearance where attention to detail cannot be over-emphasized.
