He is a professional member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and the British Burns Association. He has worked across numerous London teaching hospitals gaining invaluable experience and completed a Fellowship at the Wellington Hospital in Aesthetic Surgery. In his National Health position, Dr. Lucian Ion was actively involved in the multidisciplinary management of skin malignancies as well as general plastic surgery, reconstructive procedures, and post-bariatric surgery body contouring. Furthermore, in 2000 he was appointed Consultant at the renowned Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London where he stayed for 12 years before leaving to dedicate his time to private practice. Today Dr. Lucian Ion is based at Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Harley Street, London, where he offers his clients unparalleled services. Lastly, Dr. Lucian Ion is also a partner with SYMMETRIA^® an international skin and plastic surgery clinic based in Athens and Bahrain.
